Vision 

Cor Jesu College of Law envisions a quality, relevant and competitive legal education that will produce socially-responsible and intellectually-capable law graduates and lawyers, living the school’s mission of compassionate community service for social transformation, progress, and sustainable development.

We, the members of the College of Law commit to:

  1. Advance and provide quality and relevant Legal Education that is at par with the best law schools in the country;

  5. Nurture a law school environment that promotes the pillars of Cor Jesu College education and instills the values of Sacred Heart spirituality in all its students.

  1. Program Goals

The primary goal of the College of Law Program is to provide students with experiential legal education that will fully equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills required of lawyers instill in them the socially conscious values for their role in the community and the environment and mold them to become epitomes of excellence and compassion for the neglected, abandoned, and marginalized. It is thus, the goal of the College of Law Program to enable the students to internalize the value of legal social responsibility that will mold them to become ethical and humane lawyers in the future and become effective partners in expanding access to justice.

The Program is the blueprint in providing students with the indispensable knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes they need to become competent, ethical and humane lawyers and legal professionals endowed with dedicated and selfless concern for others and for the environment, marked by loving respect and kindness inspired by the Spirituality of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.

  1. Program Objectives

Upon completion of the program, the graduates should be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the laws, the legal and paralegal profession especially in the light of compassion and concern for the neglected, abandoned, and marginalized sectors notwithstanding their apposite roles they are to perform in the society;
  • Exhibit competence in legal research, critical thinking and problem solving;
  • Display a contagious consciousness as God-centered professionals of compassion of the legal implications of the ethical, moral, and social issues; and
  • Transform into Spiritually-courageous advocates always ready to protect and counsel, to help others promote and attain justice and safeguard the rule of law, thereby ultimately attaining the common good.

Law School Admission Procedure

Face-to-face Enrolment Procedure:

  1. Prepare the following documents:
    • Diploma (Photocopy)
    • Original Copy / Certified True Copy of your Transcript of Record (TOR)
    • 2 pcs. Long Brown Envelope
  1. Submit the required documents to the Law School Department office.
  2. Encode personal data in the Online Student Enrolment (OLSEN) through this website: https://apps.cjc.edu.ph/
  3. Accomplish the enrolment form and affidavit of undertaking correctly and completely (with corresponding sequence code, course catalogue number, description, number of units, day and time). The Affidavit of Undertaking should be notarized.
  4. Present the accomplished enrolment form and affidavit of undertaking to the Law School office for checking and verification.
  5. Pay the tuition and miscellaneous fee of Php 22,204.37 at the cashier.
  6. Submit the accomplished enrolment form and affidavit of undertaking to Law School office. Secure a copy of the enrolment form.

  1. Download and accomplish the enrolment form correctly and completely (with corresponding sequence code, course catalogue number, description, number of units, day and time and your e-signature).

 

  1. Download and accomplish the Affidavit of Undertaking. The Affidavit of Undertaking should be notarized.

 

  1. Download and accomplish the Application for Temporary Admission with an undertaking to submit the following documents within thirty (30) days from enrolment date:

 

  • Diploma (Photocopy)
  • Original Copy / Certified True Copy of your Transcript of Record (TOR)
  • Long Brown Envelope

The Application for Temporary Admission should be notarized.

 

  1. Pay the tuition and miscellaneous fee of Php 22,204.37 through bank transfer or remittance center.

  1. Please take a photo of the deposit slip and send it to the CJC-FINANCE OFFICE FB account via Messenger (http://m.me/cjcfinanceoffice ), including the name of the student, course and year level. Acknowledgment of payment will be done once the deposit slip photo is received and validated by the Finance Office.

 

  1. Send these 4 documents (deposit slip/online bank transaction, word file of the enrolment form (do not distort the format and paging) scanned copy of the notarized affidavit of undertaking and notarized Application for Temporary Admission) to lawschoolofficial@cjc.edu.ph. A confirmation email will be sent.

 

  1. Submit the original copy of the requirements through LBC, addressed to Daisy D. Egos, Law School Office – Cor Jesu College, Inc. Sacred Heart Avenue, Digos City, Davao Del Sur, 09514869391.

 

Requirements are the following:
