“Civil engineering is nothing but civilization itself.” From the earliest times, people have been engaging in civil engineering works such as ancient roads, bridges, cathedrals, and among others. In taking part in building the civilizations of today and of tomorrow, the fourth-year students of BS Civil Engineering in Cor Jesu College, Inc. are honored and proud to present their Engineering Project Designs.
Working hand-in-hand with the Local Government Units (LGUs) in different municipalities of Davao del Sur, in coordination with the Br. Polycarp Foundation of Cor Jesu College, Inc. under Director Maribel S. Guerra, MA, and the guidance of their Civil Engineering Professor Engr. James Raven S. Sarsona, Program Head Engr. Amie Lou G. Cisneros, MSCE, EnP., College of Engineering Dean Engr. Jonas M. Placer, M.Eng., supportive faculty members, and other collaborators, the proponents continuously refine their projects in order to come up with utmost excellence in terms of its market, technical, management, and socio-economic feasibility.
This undertaking is part of the BSCE Program’s vision of enhancing the students’ talents, skills, and understanding of engineering designs through research activities, development, innovation and actual design applications of the lessons learned in the four corners of their classroom.
Presentation and exhibit of these engineering design projects will be done using the miniature and audio-visual presentations prepared for the LGU officials and local stakeholders.
Truly, CJC draws out the best—BSCE’s best.
