As part of its community extension program, the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) conducted an IT Clinic at Ruparan National High School (RNHS), Ruparan, Digos City last November 29, 2023.
Headed by Sergio A. Tecson, M.I.T., the faculty and students of CCIS responded to the request of RNHS school principal to repair their computer units that were damaged caused by the earthquake that hit in 2019. Majority of the units were revived and were made functional.
During the said activity, Mr. Daryl Ivan E. Hisola, CCIS faculty, conducted a training-workshop on the advanced features of Microsoft Excel among the teachers of the said school. The activity was in coordination with the Brother Polycarp Foundation of Cor Jesu College.
