The College Parents-Teachers Educational Association (CPTEA) and Guidance and Counseling Center (GCC) organized a successful Family Fun Day event last December 3, 2022 with the theme, “Pamilya: Gipalig-on Diha sa Gugma ni Kristo”. The event was held at the college grounds and brought together students, their families, and the CJC community to promote family togetherness and bonding after years of virtual celebrations due to the pandemic.
The day’s activities started with a mass followed by a program to welcome the families. The program included an inspirational message from the school president, Br. Ellakim P. Sosmeña, S.C., Ph.D. who thanked the families for their continued support and emphasized the importance of family involvement
in a student’s education.
Spearheaded by the guidance personnel, families were invited to participate in various games and activities. Families also enjoyed the lechon provided by the College Parents-Teachers Educational Association (CPTEA). Aside from the fun games, one of the highlights of the event was the raffle draw, wherein several prizes were given away to lucky attendees. Among the prizes were washing machine, flat iron, and sacks of rice and packs of groceries. The winners were ecstatic as they received their prizes on stage.
