Cor Jesu College – College Student Government with the CJC – CSG Adviser, Miss Jeopril Jane R. Pableo, Student Activity Coordinator, Miss Louella May V. Plaza, and former Director of Student Services, Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod flew to Baguio City to participate the 42 nd Annual National Convention of Campus Student Advisers and 26 th Annual Convention for Student Leaders held at Teachers’ Camp Baguio City last March 8 – 11, 2023.
On March 7, 2023, at 10:00 in the evening via Cebu Pacific Airlines, ten (10) CJC – CSG Student Leaders accompanied by the three (3) Student Advisers were on board for the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers/Leaders (PACSA/PACSL) Convention. Five (5) of the officers represented the Mindanao Region in the socio-cultural events, and three (3) of them emerged as winners, Alyza Graciano – 1 st runner-up for Vocal Solo and Vocal Duet; Dorothy Grace Malud – 2 nd runner-up for Literary Competition; and Leonard Dominic Labajo – 3 rd runner-up for Ginoong PACSL 2023.
The Annual National Convention with the theme “Connectivity 2023: LEAD Through Borderless Community” was jam packed with splendid plenary sessions and cultural events that made the Student Leaders and Advisers’ stay worthwhile during the 4-day event.
