The TerpsiCORean Dance Ensemble of Cor Jesu College was declared the grand champion during the Sayaw Pinoy Competition (Adult Category) held at SM-Ecoland Event Center in Davao City on March 15, 2018.
“It was really overwhelming. It was our third attempt to join the said contest. Last year, we were second. And now, we are declared the champion. We are so happy for this achievement. We really thank the school for the full support,” John Roy Palima, the moderator and coach of the group said.
This folk dance competition was one of the highlights of the Araw ng Davao 2018 celebration. The event was participated by seven (7) groups coming from the different parts of Regions 11 and 12.
