Dr. Primitiva B. Hilot, a professor at Cor Jesu College- Graduate School, was awarded as Outstanding National Educator in Entrepreneurship Instruction during the 2016 International Conference on Entrepreneurship hosted by the Entrepreneurship Educator’s Association of the Philippines, Inc., (ENEDA) last February 19, 2016 at Manila Diamond Hotel, Manila City, Philippines.
The award was given to Dr. Hilot in recognition of her invaluable contribution in the field of Entrepreneurship Education. According to ENEDA in its citation, Dr. Hilot’s vision and passion as an educator has given her students a better perspective of entrepreneurship education through the teaching of sound fundamentals towards instructional innovations, with the hope of giving rise to a breed of new business leaders for the country.
Dr. Hilot, who resides in Davao City, has been teaching for quite a long time already and has shown strong loyalty and commitment to Cor Jesu College as a professor in the Master in Business Administration program despite the hassle of traveling for more than 50 kilometers to Digos City.
“Aside from her wisdom and experience as professor and administrator, she shows great discipline. Though she is from Davao City, she always arrives in school before her class begins at 8:00 in the morning. It shows her love for work, and especially for her students,” Dr. Randy Tudy, dean of the Graduate School, commented.
“It is an honor and privilege for Cor Jesu College- Graduate School community to have a professor who is recognized as an outstanding educator in the country,” added Dr. Tudy.
