Empowering Future Educators: Cor Jesu College Shines in 2nd International Webinar on Global Pedagogies

Yesha Faye Dela Cerna – The 2nd International Webinar for education students, themed “GloCal Opportunities: Navigating the International Pedagogies in Primary Education,” was successfully held on March 8, 2025. Hosted by Diana Sambogan at EdTech, the event brought together educators and students from both primary and secondary to explore global and local perspectives on innovative teaching strategies in primary education.

One of the highlights of the webinar was when Dr. Maria Elena C. Morales brought her students to ask insightful questions about the rights and privileges abroad, connecting directly to their Teaching Profession class. The webinar also served as a platform to discuss innovative practices, challenges, and opportunities for integrating international teaching methodologies into local contexts.

The Society of Elementary Education Students (SEEdS) expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ryan Lanit, former SEEdS Moderator and Program Head of the BEEd and BECEd programs, who joined all the way from Canada. His invaluable insights and unwavering support have greatly contributed to the success of the event.

One of the participants, Czarina Aguilar, enthusiastically shared, “I am happy to have been part of this enlightening experience. Hearing perspectives from educators truly opened my mind to new possibilities in teaching.”

The organizers congratulate all the participants and SEEdS officers for making this international webinar successful! Their dedication to advancing primary education through global perspectives inspires and empowers the next generation of educators.
