Cor Jesu College welcomes a visiting professor from Saudi Arabia who shared his expertise to the graduate school students last July 14, 2014 at the AV Hall 2, Cor Jesu College, Digos City, Philippines.
Dr. Roel P. Anicas, Academic Coordinator of Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, gave a lecture on “Writing a Paper for Publication” and “Conducting Training Needs Analysis”. The lectures were supplemental topics on two subjects offered in the graduate school- Research Methodology and Organizational Behavior.
“ I was very much happy and blessed of having a chance of meeting personally my MAED, MPA, MLIS and MBA students in Cor Jesu College”, commented Dr. Anicas after his lecture.
Dr. Anicas is a multi-awarded researcher. He is also an editor of an international research journal. He serves as a peer reviewer of different colleges and universities in the Philippines. He was also a Fr. Jose Burgos awardee of his province in Ilocos Sur. Currently, he is nominated to receive the Gawad ng Pangulo Award.
“It was a pleasure having Dr. Anicas with our graduate students. His expertise in research surely inspired our students to develop the skills in research”, said Dr. Randy A. Tudy, Dean of the Graduate School.
According to Dr. Tudy, another professor from South Korea will be coming in October.
“Aside from a Korean Professor, experts from France, USA and Singapore have already committed to serve as lecturer in the graduate school”, added Dr. Tudy of the school’s efforts of adding an international flavor of the graduate school.
