The Junior Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (JPICE)-Cor Jesu College Chapter emerged as the champion in the 31st National Bridge Building Competition at the 23rd National Civil Engineering Students’ Conference and Competition of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineering, Inc. (PICE) at the SMX Convention Center Manila, November 16.
The formidable team of Krisha C. Gonzales (BSCE 4), Paolo C. Cabaobao (BSCE 4), Wilma C. Tin-ao (BSCE 4), Stephene Jun C. Briñan (BSCE 3), and Arriane R. Subtiniente (BSCE 4) brought CJC to the top, outshining civil engineering students from different universities and colleges across the Philippines.
With the guidance and expertise of their coach, Engr. Amie Lou G. Cisneros and Engr. Kristine May L. Maturan, Cor Jesians embodied the institution’s commitment to excellence and innovation in engineering, putting the event’s theme to life as they built global partnership, bridged boundaries, and fostered new technologies towards a more resilient and sustainable development.
