Lady Lou Tabudlong emerged as champion during the search for Mr. & Ms Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers held at Malagos Resort, Davao City last July 24-26, 2014.
The pageant was one of the highlights of the PACSA Mid-year National Convention which was participated in by the different colleges and universities throughout the Philippines.
Tabudlong who was hailed as Miss PACSA 2014 bested eight other colleges from other regions. She also received all minor awards namely, best in casual attire, best in denim attire and best in long gown.
During the competition, Tabudlong was paired to Darren Simon Edem who represented the school for Mr. PACSA 2014. He was declared 3rd runner-up in the said competition. He had eight contenders who also came from other different colleges. The representative from Notre Dame of Marbel University was declared as Mr. PACSA 2014.
The convention also conducted other events like essay writing, poster making, song writing and extemporaneous speaking. The Holy Cross of Davao College grabbed the 1st place in the first three events. Aside from winning the crown, Tabudlong was also announced as champion in the extemporaneous speaking competition.
Tabudlong is taking up Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering, 3rd year, at Cor Jesu College, Digos City. She is also a student leader in the said institution. She is the vice-governor of the Engineering and Technology Division.
“The convention aims to bring out the best for students leaders; they must be molded holistically in different aspects.” said Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod, Chairperson of PACSA Mindanao Core Group during an interview.
