1. The scholarship is granted to Valedictorians and Salutatorians who are graduates of a school with a population of 50 or more students. It is good for one school year

Academic Achievers – Honors

• 100% scholarship on tuition for top 1 from first to third year HS.
• 50% scholarship on tuition for top 2 from first to third year HS.
• 25% scholarship on tuition for top 3 from first to third year HS.

Regulations

1. 100% scholarship on tuition if he/she has a general average of 95% or better with no grade below 93% in all subjects including components of the Makabayan
2. 50% scholarship on tuition if he/she has a general average of 93% or better with no grade below 91% in all.
3. 25% scholarship on tuition if he/she has a general average of 91% or better with no grade below 89% in all subjects including components of the Makabayan.

Topnotchers of the CJC-BED Scholarship Test

• 100% scholarship on tuition for pupils/students who will score 100 to 120 out of 120 items
• 50% scholarship on tuition for pupils/students who will score 85 to 99 out of 120 items.
• 25% scholarship on tuition for pupils/students who will score 75 to 84 out of 120 items

Regulations

1. The scholarship is only for tuition and it is only for one school year.

Venerable Bro Polycarp Incentives

0% incentive on tuition for TRANFEREES for the following levels for SY 2013-2014:

1. 5% discount on tuition for full payment of both tuition and miscellaneous fees
2. 20% discount on tuition for the 3rd child.

4. 40% discount on tuition for the 5th child.
5. 5% discount on tuition for corporations or institutions with 5 to 15 scholars and 7% discount on tuition for those with 16 and above scholars

General Policy

A student can only enjoy one(1) scholarship or discount at a time in a school year by choosing whichever is higher.

Academic Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to all top 3 graduating students of every Senior High School strand which has 100 or more graduating student populations and to all top 1 graduating students of every Senior High School strand which has less than 100 graduating student populations. This scholarship is distributed as follows:

1. Top 1 will be given 100% scholarship on tuition and miscellaneous
2. Top 2 will be given 75% scholarship on tuition only
3. Top 3 will be given 50% scholarship on tuition only

The scholars are entitled to a free or discounted tuition but required to pay in full the entrance and miscellaneous fees during the current school year.

Regulations

1. This scholarship program and its corresponding rules and regulations is applicable effective SY 2018-2019
2. The scholarship grant is only good for one semester. However, any academic scholar can maintain his/her scholarship in the succeeding semester/s if he/she is included in the Dean’s List. A Dean’s Lister is qualified for a full scholarship grant if he/she has a weighted average grade of not less than 1.34999 and with no grade lower than 1.5. A Dean’s Lister is qualified for a half-scholarship grant if he/she has a weighted average grade of not less than 1.44999 and with no grade lower than 1.7;
3. In order to avail of the Dean’s List Scholarship, a student must have at least 18 units as academic loads and
4. Any academic scholar who is included in the Dean’s List is entitled to avail of 100% free tuition (for full scholarship) and 50% free tuition (for half-scholarship).

Mechanisms

1. Scholarship grants are proportionately distributed to various College programs. On one hand, board programs are given 6 slots each and distributed as follows: Top 1 with 100% Scholarship = 3 scholars; Top 2 with 75% Scholarship = 2 scholars; and Top 3 with 50% Scholarship = 1 scholar. On the other hand, non board programs are given 1 slot of top 1 with 100% scholarship.
2. Slots for academic scholarship are given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Thus, any qualified scholar who wish to enroll in a particular program but with no slots available may be directed to other programs with available slots or may write the school president for possible consideration; and
3. The letter for consideration address to the president must be endorsed by the dean where the qualified scholar wishes to enroll.
4. Non-aligned top 3 students must take and pass first the College Freshmen Entrance Examination to be accepted as academic scholars in their respective chosen board programs.

CJC Scholarship Examinations and Academic Wizard

• 100% scholarship on tuition for champion in the CJC-Battle of the Academic Wizard;
• 100% scholarship on tuition for those who have obtained 85 and above percentile rank in the Cor Jesu College Freshmen Scholarship Examinations
• 50% scholarship on tuition for those who won 1st runners-up in the CJC-Battle of the Academic Wizard;
• 50% scholarship on tuition for those who won 1st runners-up in the CJC-Battle of the Academic Wizard;
• 50% scholarship on tuition for those who obtained 76-84 and above percentile rank in the Cor Jesu College Freshmen Scholarship Examinations
• 25% scholarship on tuition for those who won 2nd runners-up in the CJC-Battle of Academic Wizards;
• 25% scholarship on tuition for hose who obtained 60-75 percentile rank in the Cor Jesu College Freshmen Scholarship Examinations

Regulations

1. The scholarship can only be enjoyed in the first semester unless the student can qualify as a Dean’s Lister/Academic Scholar in the succeeding semester

Transition Period

Grade 10 students who are winners of the CJC-Battle of the Academic Wizard will receive the same privileges/incentives when they will enroll in Grade 11. If they will enroll in other school for Grade 11 & 12 and they will enroll later in Cor Jesu College as first year college students, they can enjoy the same privileges/incentives.

1. 15% discount on tuition is granted for high school student who graduate from CJC Basic Education Department who will enroll first year in the College Department

Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)

Cor Jesu College accepts enrollees who are beneficiaries of 4P’s under Listahanan 2.0 for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Program of the Philippines.

Incentives for PRC Exams Topnotchers

• ₱300,000 cash for top 1 in the PRC exams
• ₱100,00 cash for top 2 in the PRC exams
• ₱75,000 cash for top 3 in the PRC exams
• ₱50,000 cash for top 4 to 10 in the PRC exams

Regulations

1. The student must have studied at Cor Jesu College for at least one school year.
2. The student must have graduated from Cor Jesu College
3. The PRC exam must be required for the degree of the recipient

The grant can only be enjoyed on the first semester of the first year.

Fr. Andre Coindre Scholarship:

• 100% scholarship on tuition for students with the highest General Weighted Average per year level
• 50%  scholarship on tuition for students with the second highest General Weighted Average per year level

Regulations

To maintain the Fr. Coindre scholarship, the recipient/s

1. Must have no grade below 85%;
2. Must have taken the full load;
3. Must have no dropped subject/s; and
4. The scholarship is only granted when the population of the year level is 30 and above

Discounts

5% discount on tuition for full payment of both the tuition andmiscellaneous fees

Regulations

The student can avail of the 5% discount every time the student pays in full his/her tuition and miscellaneous fees

Grants for Debating Team

Official Members of the debating Team of the Law School who are semi-finalists in the material debate competition are granted full scholarship on tuition in the succeeding semester.

Incentives for BAR Exams Topnotchers

• P300,000 cash for top 1 in the BAR exams
• P100,00 cash for top 2 in the BAR exams
• P75,000 cash for top 3 in the BAR exams
• P50,000 cash for top 4 to 10 in the BAR exams
